Modern Knowledge Resource Centre “The library” at NIPER Raebareli is being developed as the state-of-the-art National library and Information centre in Pharmaceutical Sciences under guidance of Knowledge Resource Centre of CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow.

Collections

Library is an invaluable resource for participants, faculties and researchers at NIPER Raebareli. The library has built a collection of over 900 books, current subscription to print / e journals & magazines, newspapers, many other resources like student's semester project reports and final semester dissertations.

Institutional Repository

The Library provides an Institutional Repository (DSpace ) which distributes the scholarly output and other publications of NIPER including.

Online catalogue-SOUL Web OPAC

The Library uses SOUL software package which is an integrated library management system that supports all in-house operations of the Library. The SOUL consists of modules on acquisition, cataloguing, circulation, serials, OPAC. The two different levels of automation which needs to be highlighted are as follows:

  • OPAC for easy access by users
  • House-keeping operations and networking

The database of books available in the Library is being updated on day to day basis with details of recently acquired books. Records of all the library patrons have also been created in the SOUL web opac.

Working hours

  • Monday to Friday: 09:00 am to 05:30 pm


*The Library will remain closed on all Saturdays, Sundays, Gazetted and National holidays.
